Our story

Farm Foods combines the strength of three established businesses – VKB Milling (Pty) Ltd, Vhembe Milling (Pty) Ltd, and GWK Farm Foods (Pty) Ltd. Since April 2024, we’ve proudly operated under one name: Farm Foods.

With seven production plants nationwide, we supply high-quality flour, maize meal, pasta, noodles, spaghetti, and premixes to households, home bakers, bakeries, and national clients.

What we make:

Maize meal

• Where: Mokopane, Lydenburg, Louis Trichardt & Christiana
• Capacity: 425,000 tons per year
• Brands you know: Magnifisan and Top White
• Where it goes: Limpopo, Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, Free State, Eastern Cape & North West
• How we deliver: Through wholesalers, retailers, our own depots, and even raw-material exchange programmes

Flour & complete mixes 

• Where: Frankfort & Modderrivier
• Capacity: 300,000 tons per year
• Products: Cake flour, White & Brown bread flour, Biscuit flour, complete mixes, and bran
• Focus: Supplying bakers and customers with consistent, top-quality flour, maximising yields
• Mixing plant: Frankfort – supplying complete bakery mixes to our customers

Pasta

• Where: Modderrivier
• Products: Macaroni, Penne, Screws, Shells, and Elbows

In addition to the above, Farm Foods also has a value-added range in our basket. Products include instant noodles, spaghetti, rice, and Instant Maize Porridge.
